Top Business Tech shares its favourite events to attend both in-person and virtually this June. 

1. Computex 

Date: 1-5th June, 2021

Location: virtual

Computex Taipei usually hosts its leading global ICT and IoT show, which covers the entirety of the technology supply chain lines and ecosystems. Normally located in Taiwan, the event geographically situated itself as a strategic destination for foreign companies and investors to connect. This year, the event, provisionally titled Computex Cyberworld 2021, will take place virtually as uncertainty regarding the pandemic continues. 

2. Digital Transformation Conference Online North America

Date: 3rd June, 2021

Location: virtual

Now in its fifth year, Digital Transformation Conference Online North America has shifted to an online event in response to COVID-19 and has already hosted 10 events, with over 5000 virtual attendees. The digital conference series will feature speakers and delegates from across the US, offering guidance and support from Fortune 500 companies.

3. Webinale

Date: 7-11th June 2021

Location: Virtual

Webinale is back for another year. This year’s event will be not only digital but interactive as attendees can connect with other professionals to leverage specialist knowledge around frontend code, web designers and product owners. The events will be recorded and available for up to a year after the event. 

4. Hardware Con

Date: 8th June 2021

Location: Virtual

Hardware Con will provide attendees with the chance to learn about the latest technology and business trends in AI, Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, Blockchain, Product Design and more. The event will feature  40 speakers and 1000 attendees from over 30 countries.

5. React Day Norway

Date: 9th June 2021

Location: Virtual

There are 1,000 tickets available for React Day Norway event, streamed online for free this year. 11 speakers will discuss key topics such as React web development, React Native, GraphiQL, Testing, Performance and scalability. In addition to this, there will be merchandise and chatrooms available to attendees to build upon old and new partnerships.

6. DevOpsCon

Date: 14-17th June 2021

Location: Belin, Germany; virtual

Venue: Mercure Hotel, MOA

According to DevOpsCon, this year will be “a hybrid affair,” as delegates can attend online or in-person at the Mecure Hotel in Berlin.  This year’s event will feature virtual and live talks from thought leaders worldwide who will showcase their insights and advise on how best to develop a company’s DevOps to the next level. 

7. VivaTech

Date: 16-17th June 2021

Location: Paris, France; virtual

Venue: Expo Porte De Versailles

Vivatech, Europe’s biggest startup and tech event, is back and will take place online and in-person in Paris. The event boasts a considerable cohort, with 13,000 startups and 3,300 investors in attendance, as well as 2,500 journalists. The event has previously had major industry leaders speak, such as Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Ma, and Bernard Arnault.

8. Mobile World Congress

Date: 28-30th June 2021

Location: Barcelona, Spain; virtual

Venue: Fire Gran Via

Mobile World Congress is the biggest connectivity event globally and one of the most influential tech startup conferences. Physically taking place in the Fire Gran Via in Spain, the event can be attended in person or digitally to discuss this year’s themes of 5G, AI, Future Society, Creative Technology, and Customer Experience.
